Toolbox Terms of Sale
A toolbox adds blocks for one field to ICore Blocks. A paid toolbox is a subscription added to your plan. It starts with a 1-month free trial, and every charge can be refunded in full within 30 days.
The short version. You buy a toolbox on the customer portal, as an add-on to the plan you are on. Its price depends on that plan. It renews with its own billing period until you cancel it, and it ends when your plan ends. The Free Trial, Non-Commercial and Educational licences include every paid toolbox at no charge. The Refund Policy applies to every toolbox charge exactly as it applies to a plan.
| Your plan | A paid toolbox costs | Starts with |
|---|---|---|
| Free Trial · Non-Commercial · Educational | Included, while the licence is valid | - |
| Individual | Monthly | $19 / month | 1-month free trial |
| Individual | Yearly | $190 / year | 1-month free trial |
| Team + SDK | Yearly | $2,400 / year | 1-month free trial |
| Team + SDK | Perpetual · Perpetual + Updates | $1,800 / year | 1-month free trial |
Early-bird prices, in US dollars, before tax. The struck-through amount is the price after the early-bird offer. A toolbox whose page on the portal shows a different price is sold at that price.

1Who sells, and what these terms cover
These terms cover toolboxes for ICore Blocks. They are part of the Terms of Service, and where the two differ about a toolbox, these terms apply.
- SellerIntegrated Core Systems ("ICS", "we"), British Columbia, Canada.
- PaymentPaddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record for every toolbox purchase. You buy from Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms govern the payment, the invoice and the tax.
- A toolboxAn add-on to ICore Blocks: blocks for one field, with their help, examples and model templates, and for some a companion program. Some are free. The others are sold on the customer portal at
portal.systemsicore.com, and listed atstore.systemsicore.comand in the app's Toolbox Store.
2What you buy
When you buy a toolbox you buy a subscription to use it, not the software itself. The subscription is added to your ICore Blocks licence as an entitlement, and the app checks it the same way it checks the rest of your licence.
- Built in, for everyone. Control System and Signal Processing are part of ICore Blocks and come with every licence at no extra charge.
- Sold separately. Every other paid toolbox is its own add-on, installed into ICore Blocks after you buy it. Buying one toolbox does not buy another.
- An add-on to a plan. A toolbox is sold to someone on a paid plan, at the price for that plan (the table above). It works only inside a licensed copy of ICore Blocks, and buying it does not buy or extend a plan.
- Who it belongs to. A toolbox bought on an Individual plan belongs to the person who bought it. One bought on a Team + SDK plan belongs to the organisation, and every seat on that organisation's licence can use it.
- Included with the free licences. The Free Trial, Non-Commercial and Educational licences include every paid toolbox while the licence is valid, unless a toolbox's page says it is not available to that licence. Nothing is charged, and the toolbox ends when that licence does.
3Prices, the free trial and payment
- Where you buy. On the customer portal, on every platform. Paddle takes the payment. On Windows the Microsoft Store only delivers the toolbox, and Microsoft does not charge you for it.
- Price. In US dollars, as shown at checkout, and before tax unless stated (Terms of Service, §12). Your bank may convert the charge to your own currency.
- Tax. Paddle adds the sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you are, shows it before you pay, and issues the invoice.
- The free trial. A toolbox subscription starts with one month free. Paddle takes a payment method at checkout, and the first charge is made when the month ends, on the date checkout shows. Cancel before then and nothing is charged. The free month is given once per toolbox per account: a second subscription to a toolbox you have had before starts paid.
- Early-bird prices. As for a plan (§12), a toolbox bought at an early-bird price renews at that price for as long as its subscription stays active. Letting it lapse and buying again does not carry the price forward.
- Price changes. We may change prices. A change never affects a charge already made, and we give notice before a renewal price increase takes effect.
4Renewal, cancellation and your plan
- Renewal. A toolbox subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly as bought, until it is cancelled. We send a reminder before a yearly renewal.
- Cancelling. Cancel in the customer portal at any time. The next charge does not happen, and the toolbox keeps working to the end of the period already paid for.
- When your plan ends, its toolboxes end with it. If you cancel your plan, or it lapses, every toolbox subscription on it is cancelled at the same time: none is charged again, and each runs to the end of the period already paid for it. ICore Blocks cannot run a toolbox without a licence, so from the day your plan ends the toolbox cannot be used either.
- Changing your mind. If you take back your plan's cancellation before it takes effect, the toolbox subscriptions we cancelled with it are restored as they were. A toolbox you cancelled yourself stays cancelled.
- Another plan. If you hold another paid plan that toolboxes are sold on when one plan ends, your toolboxes stay.
- Changing plan. A toolbox subscription keeps the price and billing period it was bought at when you move between plans.
5Delivery and activation
A toolbox is delivered digitally. Nothing is shipped.
- Activation. Your purchase is added to your licence as soon as Paddle confirms it, at the start of the free trial. In ICore Blocks, press Done buying? Refresh in the Toolbox Store, or sign in again, and the toolbox can be installed.
- On macOS and Linux ICore Blocks downloads the toolbox from our servers itself. You need to be signed in.
- On Windows a toolbox is installed from the Microsoft Store, as an add-on to ICore Blocks. The Store needs a Microsoft account, and its own terms apply to the download.
- If it does not arrive. If a toolbox you paid for cannot be installed within 24 hours,
write to
support@systemsicore.comwith your Paddle receipt and we will fix it or refund you. - Your part. An internet connection to buy, activate and download a toolbox, and a computer that meets the requirements on the toolbox's page.
6Refunds
Every toolbox charge can be refunded in full within 30 days, without giving a reason. Each charge opens its own 30 days: the first charge after the free trial, and every renewal. This is the same promise the Refund Policy makes for every ICore Blocks purchase, and that policy applies to toolboxes unchanged.
- How to ask. Through Paddle, from your receipt or at
paddle.net, or by writing tosupport@systemsicore.comwith your receipt. - What happens. Paddle refunds the charge, tax included, to the way you paid, usually within 3 to 10 business days. The toolbox is removed from your licence when the refund is made, and its subscription ends.
- Your models stay yours. A model that uses a removed toolbox's blocks still opens, and those blocks and their settings are kept when you save it. It does not run or export until the toolbox is installed and your licence includes it again.
- After 30 days. As the Refund Policy, §6 sets out, we still refund a duplicate charge, a purchase you did not make, a toolbox that cannot be made to work on a computer that meets its requirements, and a toolbox we have to stop (§7 below).
- Chargebacks. Please ask us first. A chargeback removes the toolbox from your licence the same way a refund does.
7Updates, discontinued and withdrawn toolboxes
- Updates. Every new version of a toolbox is included while its subscription is paid. We decide what goes into a release and when, and we do not promise a particular feature or date. A toolbox version can need a newer ICore Blocks.
- A withdrawn version. If a toolbox version is found to give wrong results or to be unsafe, we may withdraw it. ICore Blocks will then refuse to install or load it and ask you to update. Your subscription covers the corrected version.
- A toolbox we stop selling. If we stop selling a toolbox to new buyers, your subscription carries on: it keeps renewing, and the toolbox keeps working, until you cancel it.
- A toolbox we have to stop. If we ever have to stop a paid toolbox from working, we cancel its subscription and refund the unused part of the period you paid for, whether or not the 30 days have passed.
8Your licence to use a toolbox
While its subscription is paid, you may use a toolbox on the computers and seats your ICore Blocks licence allows, for any purpose that licence allows, including commercial work on a commercial plan.
- What you make is yours. Models, generated code and results you produce with a toolbox belong to you, as §8 of the Terms of Service says.
- You may not resell, rent or share a toolbox subscription; copy a toolbox's files for use outside your licence; get around the licence check or the refusal of a withdrawn version; or reverse engineer a toolbox except where the law allows it. §10 of the Terms of Service applies as well.
- Third-party parts. Some toolboxes include open-source components. Their own licences apply to those components and are listed in the toolbox's notices (§11).
- Ending it for a breach. If you break this section, we may remove the toolbox from your licence after telling you why, as §19 describes.
9Warranty and liability
A toolbox is part of the Software under the Terms of Service, and §15 to §18 apply to it unchanged. In short:
- Not certified for safety-critical use (§15). This matters most for toolboxes such as Aerospace and Robotics: their models and generated code are engineering aids, and you are responsible for validating them before any aircraft, vehicle or machine relies on them.
- What we do promise. A toolbox will perform substantially as its documentation describes. If it does not, we will use reasonable efforts to fix it or, if we cannot within a reasonable time, refund what you paid for the affected period (§16).
- Our liability for a toolbox is limited as §17 sets out.
10Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms removes a right the law gives you. Where consumer law gives you a refund, a remedy or a right of withdrawal, it applies in addition to these terms.
- EEA and UK consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. We do not ask you to give it up at checkout. Our 30-day refund is longer and needs no reason, so whichever you use, you get the charge back.
- Consumers in Canada, Australia and elsewhere keep the rights their own law gives them, as the Refund Policy, §9 describes.
- Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the payment itself and may give you rights against Paddle independent of these terms.
11Changes, governing law and contact
- Changes. We may change these terms, with notice as §21 of the Terms of Service describes. The version and effective date at the top of this page say which one you are reading.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go as §22 sets out. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live.
- Export. Toolboxes are subject to the export and sanctions terms in §20.
- Your data. What we record when you buy and download a toolbox is in the Privacy Notice, §10 and §11.
